The 6th festival edition will again bring an extensive overview of what's currently taking place at the crossroads of media, art, music and technology. Extra attention will be paid to the central theme 'data visualisation'.

Initiated at the occasion of the CENTENARY OF FILM MUSIC 1908/1909 – 2008/2009, the EUROPEAN FILM MUSIC DAYS (EFMD) have been selected as one of the events of the EUROPEAN CULTURAL SEASON taking place during the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union (July1st - Dec. 31st, 2008).
Organised by FFACE (Federation of Film and Audiovisual Composers of Europe) in partnership with the CITÉ DE LA MUSIQUE, the EUROPEAN FILM MUSIC DAYS are conceived as a cross-professional platform bringing together protagonists from the film and television sector on the theme of pictures and music, as well as representatives from related political and cultural bodies. This new and original event will be renewed on a yearly basis with a focus on economic, creative and educational targets. Around 250 film and music professionals, representatives of institutions, journalists and interested parties are expected to attend this first edition of THE EUROPEAN FILM MUSIC DAYS.

Air Sensible op November Music - 's Hertogenbosch
Twee accordeons verwikkeld in een onaardse samenzang. Live elektronica componisten Rob van Rijswijk en Jeroen Strijbos laten klanken door de ruimte zweven in samenwerking met het uiterst talentvolle accordeonduo TOEAC, bestaande uit Pieternel Berkers en Renée Bekkers.
Van Rijswijk en Strijbos zijn gefascineerd door de vocale krachttoeren van de accordeon. Het duo wil de akoestische, sensitieve warmte van het instrument laten samenvloeien met de digitale precisie van elektronica.
Met behulp van het surroundsysteem Multi Angle Sound Engine (MASE) wordt de accordeonzang subtiel bewerkt en ruimtelijk weergegeven, waardoor het publiek zelf geheel omringd zal worden door pure klankenmagie.
